Jim is one of the founding members of TRG and an experienced health care consultant with over 16 years and 150 clients to his credit. Prior to the formation of TRG in 2001, Jim’s career experience included leading the consulting division of a nationwide healthcare performance improvement company. A founding member of TRG, Matt brings more than 15 years experience in hospital administration, health care consulting, strategic planning and implementation, and cardiovascular and orthopedic “Centers of Excellence” development. J. McBride, Principal
A founding member of TRG, Chris has over 20 years of experience in cardiovascular consulting and has worked with more than 220 programs from coast to coast. Ashley M. Knape, Consultant
American Society of Appraisers (ASA)-trained, and holder of a Finance degree from Miami University of Ohio, Ashley Knape has been an integral part of TRG’s consulting team for over six years. Her core competencies and areas of focus include detailed financial analysis of hospital-physician alignment models, fair market value appraisals of acquisition and compensation arrangements, business and transaction valuations, and strategic service line business plans. Ashley has provided analytic services to a wide breadth of TRG clients including specialty heart and orthopedic hospitals, general acute care hospitals, physician practices, free-standing cath and GI labs, and ambulatory care centers. Kevin Lieb, Senior Director
Kevin has more than 20 years of healthcare-related experience focusing on quality improvement, market development and cost reduction initiatives. Prior to joining TRG, he worked for J.D. Power and Associates and was responsible for the Distinguished Hospital program. He has also worked for several well-known healthcare companies including GE Medical Systems, HCIA and LBA in Denver, Colorado. He has extensive experience in hospital market share development for new service lines, consulting management, product development, and direct sales. Sharon L. Hall, Business Manager
Sharon Hall has been with TRG since the firm’s founding in 2001. She has over 15 years’ experience in all aspects of healthcare consulting business office management and administration. Previous to TRG, Sharon was with GE Health Care Solutions in Denver for 8 years, where she held positions in the areas of human resources, business planning, on-site consulting, and sales management. Kristin L. Spinks, Financial Analyst
Kristin Oberfeld joined TRG in 2008 as a Financial Analyst after working on the payer side of the industry with New York Life. Her areas of expertise include practice and business valuations, pro forma analysis, and service feasibility study development. Darcy Liebhauser, Consultant
Darcy has more than 13 years of healthcare consulting experience and has personally worked with more than 100 hospitals nationwide. Her areas of focus include integrating hospital strategic goals with business development and quality improvement initiatives. Prior to joining TRG, Darcy worked for HealthGrades and was responsible for consulting with hospitals on the impact of transparency, quality ratings, healthcare consumerism, and improving quality outcomes. She has also worked with GE Medical Systems and was responsible for analyzing market share data trends, and was trained in Six Sigma.
