CARDIOVASCULAR CONSULTANT:
This person should be an ambitious, self-motivated individual for a full-time consulting position with a dynamic cardiovascular-focused consulting firm. Candidate will ideally have 5+ years of consulting or cardiovascular management experience in a healthcare setting and be willing to travel 50-60% of the time. Working knowledge of medical terminology, healthcare reimbursement codes (inpatient and outpatient), and hospital/clinic operations preferred. This person will demonstrate strong organizational, follow through, and project management skills; be able to work independently as well as part of a team, have strong analytical skills, excellent presentation skills, effective communication skills and be able to meet critical deadlines. Job responsibilities will include compiling and analyzing financial, clinical and market data, preparing and delivering clinical and operational reports/presentations, and developing business plans and pro formas for cardiovascular and vascular specialty hospitals, inpatient programs and outpatient centers. In addition, client/physician interviews, solution design, and action planning are key components of this position. The ability to manage several projects, as well as a travel schedule will be required. Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint™, Excel™ and Word™ will be beneficial.
